Are they a waldorf doll head with a longish sausage body? What do you put in the base of the body to get them to stand up? What is the head dimensions, would love to make some of these......
Yes, a waldorf doll head with longish sausage body. I start by making the head and then the body-dress out of thick fabric (quilting weight, basically a tube-dress) and attach it to the head. I finish stuffing the body-dress with wool. The fabric (stuffed) is mainly what keeps the doll standing and stable. I hope this explanation makes sense...
