Crafting On: Woodland Animals

Joining Nicole at Frontier Dreams for Crafting On...

A gift for our Waldorf summer camp, some wee knitted woodland animals. They were easier to knit than I thought they would be (being so small). The patterns are all from the book Mini Knitted Woodland.

Crafting On: High Waisted Overalls

Joining Nicole at Frontier Dreams for Crafting On...

I just recently finished adding buttons (Wooly Moss Roots) to these High Waisted Baby Overalls so Evie could start wearing them. She looks very comfy in them and I love the high waist that keeps her core nice and warm. I think these overalls are adorable and super practical. I highly recommend this pattern.

Crafting On

Glad to be joining Nicole again for Crafting On...

I've almost finished working on a Seashore Cowl for myself for spring/summer with yarns from my favourite Riverside Studio and Ginny's hand dyed fingering in Hopi red and Amaranth. Ginny's peachy pink yarn reminds me of a lazured Waldorf kindergarten room. I think this cowl will come in handy while nursing and the colours are nice and soft for baby...

I've also been updating my Ravelry page with lots of baby knits for those interested.

Keep Calm Craft On: Blue Sweater and Shawl

Joining Nicole at Frontier Dreams for Keep Calm Craft On…

finished blue sweater for S, I'm so happy with it and the gorgeous Wooly Moss Roots buttons just pop against the blue yarn (I love this yarn and it's the most perfect shade of blue!)

and another finished shawl… Another gorgeous blue, mixed with rich browns. The colour is Vandyke and the yarn is my favourite for shawls, I've used it several times before. It's hand dyed Riverside Studios and her colours are the most amazing that I've ever come across. I tried adding a bit of Haiku yarn for the trim on this shawl, but then decided I preferred to just stick with the Riverside yarn throughout.

Keep Calm Craft On: Violet Cap

Joining Nicole at Frontier Dreams for Keep Calm Craft On…

Although I already have too many projects on the needles at once right now, I still went ahead and started a Violet Cap this week, from my first issue of Making (I want to knit this before summer ends). I absolutely love Making! It is sooooo inspiring!!!
