Catching Up - En rattrapage

I'm back after a whole month spent on the continent with little access to a computer or to this space. I thank all of you who have been leaving comments on my previous posts and that I have not been able to reply to. Please know that I have read and greatly appreciate every word sent here.

Just to catch up on some of what we've been up to, here are some photos taken over the past few weeks…

    2. Tout va bien ici... Un nouveau bébé est en route! Début de grossesse difficile... Dû(e) pour le 11 aout. Bonheur! Sinon, homeschool, lots of reading, knitting, sewing, farming and renos for the new-one-to-come! This is our days in Quebec winter! :) xx

  3. What an amazing looking trip - you and your girls are so creative, looks like little Sacha is following in your footsteps too!
Love seeing your school work it is alway so beautifully presented.
What a fantastic way to work on the sound 'oi'. Do you follow a particular book or method? My youngest is 5 and loves anything to do with the alphabet or reading, I would love to do something like this with him.

    1. I am using material from Morgane at Ecole-de-la-terre for first grade this year. You should check out her website, she's in France. I am also just finding my own ways of introducing sounds and reading… I will post more on this subject soon. I find many of the Éditions Nord-Sud books for children are very good.
