Yurts - Yourtes

Last weekend we camped in yurts with seven other families. We enjoyed lots of sunshine and good company. The children had a blast playing outside and inside, going from one yurt to another. They all participated in a mini Olympiad and put on a play for the adults at night, in the dark. Our camp was high up in the hills which explains the huge amount of snow.

Le week-end dernier nous avons campé dans des yourtes avec sept autres familles. Nous avons profité de beaucoup de soleil et de bonne compagnie. Les enfants ont beaucoup joué à l'extérieur et à l'intérieur, passant d'une yourte à une autre. Ils ont tous participé à des olympiades et ont présenté une pièce de théâtre aux adultes le soir, dans le noir. Notre camp était très haut dans les buttes ce qui explique l'abondance de neige.

No electricity, but the wood stove kept us warm and cosy...
