Michaelmas- Michaëli

This year we celebrated the beginning of autumn and Michaëlmas with homeschooling friends

we made dragon shaped bread, but also shields and stars

we made a big pot of soup together

we dyed some cloth with wildflowers to make capes

and we made window stars in autumn colours

Happy autumn everyone!

Je souhaite à tous un bel automne!

I leave you with this song that I have been singing to my children lately:

Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
How I wonder what you are!
Art a gateway in the sky?
Art a little angel's eye?
Shine your starry light to earth,
Bring a thousand stars to birth:
Stars in apple, seedpod, pear,
Stars on berries everywhere.
So you guard me near and far-
Twinkle, twinkle, little star.
