Sounds and Reading - Les sons composés et la lecture

I have been working on some two letter sounds and reading with Loane, here are some pages from her MLB:

Avec Loane, nous continuons de travailler les sons composés et la lecture:

Some reading in French/Voici quelques bonnes premières lectures en français:

-les comptines dans le recueil d'Hélène Besnard, Entre les mots

-la collection des albums La coccinelle chez Fernand Nathan (livres anciens que l'on peut dénicher à droite et à gauche chez les bouquinistes et sur Amazon.fr, on peut aussi en trouver plusieurs sur Scribd

-La clé des champs et Histoires aux quatre vents de Jacqueline Buisson (deux coups de coeur!)

Happy reading!

Bonne lecture!

  1. Hi Sarah, I was wondering if you use a particular Waldorf home school curriculum with your kids, or do you kind of create your own? Am thinking seriously about homeschooling, and you always have such excellent projects on here--would love to know about your process. Thanks! -Tara

    1. Hi Tara, I have been using Waldorf Essentials and Christopherus as well as Ecole-de-la-Terre in French. I have also been creating some of my own lessons, especially to suit our needs in French. I found Melisa Nielsons (Waldorf Essentials) videos quite helpful when starting out. Good luck to you!

  2. Beautiful work. Wish the school my kids go to produced work like this - everything there seems to be pre-printed and they just color in!
Why do you put a star between words?
Hope I can find some of those books at the local library.

    1. Hi Emma, thank you for your kind words. The stars are to remember the spaces between words.
